Description:


Outreach Technology Services offers and internship program to available students. The Internship program project was initiated to evaluate the current utilization of internship employees as well as the selection, trainings, and ongoing management of the candidates and employees. The internship program began with one intern employee in 2008, and has since expanded to 4 intern employees in 2011.


My primary Role:


Initially in 2009, and 2010 I was the acting program manager responsible for the development of recruitment material, interviewing prospective candidates, development of program training material, mentoring intern employees throughout the internship, and various other tasks incorporating the overall management of the program. Recently in 2011 efforts were made to restructure the internship program and my primary role was to collaborate directly with the project manager to revise the program.
